St. John Paul II Dwelling
The St. John Paul II Dwelling for the Dying is located in Moore, Oklahoma, and is nestled on eight wooded acres. It opened in the fall of 2018 with two residents with similar diagnoses: Both were in the final stages of life and needed a place where dignity, prayer and compassion are in good supply.
The two-story home, complete with a chapel, cottage and barn, was built by a contractor for his large family. The transition from family home to a Gospel of Life Dwelling came through a grace-filled few weeks of encounters, conversations and God’s direct intervention.
